Different types of nuts leaves a salty or sweet smell to fragrances, and they also carry a lot of medicinal benefits to them.


Peanuts have a light, nutty aroma to them, very oily to the skin and are used mostly for massage blends. The peanut's medicinal benefit is to help those who are arthritic. Sweet almonds are great for aromatic blends because they leave a sweet and nutty aroma. The texture of almonds is slightly oily and helps to keep skin moist. Macadamia Nuts are more fragrant than almonds and carry a sweet, rich, nutty aroma. Pecans hold a very light aroma with a somewhat thick substance to it. Hazelnuts have a sweet, distinctive smell and are good for oily skin. Sesame seeds are sweet, nutty and carry an overpowering aromatic scent
